The Pipeline Professionals' Association of Nigeria (aka PLAN) cordially invites you to her forthcoming "End-of-Year" session tagged #PLAN2016.

As is our tradition, there will be cutting-edge presentations, lively debates and talks from seasoned career professionals within the Oil & Gas industry.

The Conference aims:

  • To enlighten Operators and Civil Society on new developments and wins in the Nigerian Pipeline Industry.
  • The forum will allow attendees to network with some of the best in the industry and discuss issues and developments in pipelines and the pipeline industry.
  • Identify challenges faced by Pipeline maintenance companies during the year 2016 and how to overcome them.

Member Types


Corporate Member
Any employer of employees engaged in production, construction, installation, treating, reconditioning or maintenance of pipelines shall be eligible to apply as a Corporate member. It is sub-divided into:
  • Oil Producers
  • Service Companies (Multinationals)
  • Service Companies (Nigerian)
Individual Members
Any individual who is engaged in pipeline business shall be eligible to apply as an individual member.
  • Student Membership

    Any current Bachelors or OND/HND student of a tertiary institution (or serving NYSC corp member) who is engaged studying in pipeline and allied business shall be eligible to apply as an student member.
  • Honorary Membership

    Any individual or organization who has performed distinguished service to the pipeline industry shall qualify as an honorary members such as Banks, Insurance companies etc

Guidelines for Writing and Submitting a Conference Paper Proposal

Papers presented at PLAN conferences are selected by program committees from proposals (abstracts of the proposed presentation) submitted by authors. Each conference has its own Program Committee. The number of proposals accepted for a meeting depends on program size (the number of sessions), technical coverage (the topics to be covered), and number and quality of paper proposals. Because program committees look for the best contributions, writing an effective paper proposal is important.
